REGISTRATIONS FOR MOTORFEST 2008 NOW CLOSED
Due to number of pre-registrations, no further registrations for display vehicles are being taken - either before the event or on the day.
DRIVE: Queensland’s largest showcase of vintage, veteran classic and special interest vehicles
STYLE: The best of old and new, including a centenary celebration of the Model T Ford
FASHION: See everything from classic period costumes to the latest catwalk trends
FOOD: Tempting selections of gourmet fare and boutique beverages
FUN: Entertainment, rides and prizes for families, the young and the young at heart!
WHEN: Sunday 29 June, 9.30am to 2.30pm
WHERE: Eagle Farm Racecourse, Lancaster Road, Ascot
HEAD to the Triple M interactive trailer between 10am and noon for games, giveaways and more!
BE trackside at 10.30am to see the CareFlight Rescue Helicopter in action, including a crew winching demonstration (subject to helicopter availability and emergency call-out).
OTHER exciting new attractions on the day include:
- the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) Simulator – like an arcade game, this car buffs’ Batman ride demonstrates how ESC can save lives in simulated on-road conditions
- a parade featuring new season fashions from Petrol boutique, Ascot
- free kids’ rides, face painting and performances from RACQ’s Streets Ahead Road Safety Education Team
- live music and performances from the Steve Woods and his Splinters jazz band, Brisbane River City Clippers Men’s Harmony Chorus and the Wild Cherries Dance Club
- roving entertainment including characters from Flipside Circus, RioRythmics Latin Dancers, and the Crash Test Dummies
- the V8 Supercar Interactive Trailer featuring protective gear worn by the drivers, Xbox 360 games and information on how even race car drivers play it safe on the road
- gourmet food and beverages
- tips on how to minimise your car’s impact on the environment
- demonstrations of how RACQ roadside assistance officers are trained
- information on RACQ’s vast array of products and services
- and much more!

Entry to the event is by donation to the RACQ Helicopter Rescue Network.
The venue is easily accessible by train, bus or ferry (visit Transinfo for details) and parking is available onsite for $5 per car.
